Wikipedia Entries

A few reminders:

  • Remember that there is an upper bound of 5 on the number of groups with two students. I’ll only accept groups of 2 on a first come first serve basis. I will not accept any group with only one student in it. (This is all for selfish reasons: grading these entries takes a lot of time and I want to limit the number of entries that I have to read.)
  • I expect the “workload” per member of the group to be about 1.5-2 lectures worth of material.
  • It might make sense for you to look at lecture notes from previous offerings and choose a topic that is not present in Wikipedia
  • IMPORTANT: Make sure that you do not just copy lectures notes to your Wikipedia entry (if you choose to go that route). You’re expected to understand the material and write the entry in your own words.

    Thanks,
