Lecture 20: Shannon’s theorem

In Monday’s lecture, we saw Shannon’s setup for channel coding and stated Shannon’s capacity theorem for the special case of \mathrm{BSC}_p. The material is from Lecture 8 from Fall 2007.

In tomorrow’s lecture, we will start with the proof of Shannon’s theorem.
