Lecture 17: Fuzzy vaults in biometrics

In yesterday’s lecture, we looked at the problem of “fuzzy vaults,” which was motivated by use of fingerprints to securely “lock” a secret. We looked at the issues and then formally defined the problem. Next lecture, we will use Reed-Solomon codes to design a good fuzzy vault.
