Project 12: Broadcast Channels

All the channels that we will study in this course implicity assume a point to point communication: that is, there is a single sender and a single receiver. However, in many applications (for example, wireless network) here could be one sender and multiple receivers. Broadcast channels model this type of communication. One of the recent papers on this topic is by Nair and El Gamal titled An outer bound to the capacity region of the broadcast channel.
